Brooklyn's nightlife has been shifting since the pandemic: younger adults drink less, late-night food is harder to find, and alcohol-free programs have moved from novelty to standard. This pillar covers the night out for adults 21+: listening rooms and small venues, the kitchens that stay open, alcohol-free options, and where the licensed dispensaries sit by neighborhood. THC beverages are a licensed-retail product in New York and are not sold where alcohol is licensed. New York state law prohibits cannabis consumption on state-owned land and in public spaces.
