Sunset Park carries three distinct identities in one neighborhood: the 8th Avenue Chinatown running south from 42nd Street, the 5th Avenue Mexican and Latin American food corridor, and the Industry City warehouse-conversion complex along the waterfront. The park itself sits at the top of the hill with a skyline view that rivals any in the borough. Licensed cannabis retail is still developing in Sunset Park compared to neighborhoods further north. Weekends here lean on a dim sum morning, a park-top walk, and the Industry City food hall as the anchor for whatever the rest of the day becomes.
