DUMBO
Brooklyn Bridge Park, the cobblestone-and-warehouse grid, and the skyline view the neighborhood built its whole identity around.
DUMBO is the smallest Brooklyn neighborhood doing the most with its footprint. The cobblestone grid between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges holds converted warehouses, a bookstore anchor at Powerhouse, and the waterfront frontage of Brooklyn Bridge Park that has become one of the most photographed stretches of green space in New York. The Time Out Market and Empire Stores keep the weekend food rhythm steady. Licensed cannabis retail is light inside the neighborhood itself but close via Fulton and Jay Street, and the cannabis-aware evening here tends to be a Bridge Park walk followed by dinner and a ferry or subway home.
