About

OC DISPENSARY operates in Brooklyn under a state-issued adult-use cannabis retail license, regulated by the NY Office of Cannabis Management (OCM). Active license status (OCM-CAURD-25-000229) can be confirmed any time via the OCM portal at cannabis.ny.gov — worth checking before an in-person visit. The shop offers in-store pickup. State-regulated product categories include flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles (capped at 10mg THC per serving), concentrates, tinctures, and topicals — all lab-tested and OCM-compliant. Purchases are restricted to adults 21+ with valid ID at the door. The Brooklyn retail scene mixes CAURD-licensed social-equity shops with larger independent operators, and most neighborhoods now have at least one licensed dispensary within a short walk or subway stop. A same-day phone call is the most reliable way to confirm hours and stock — menus rotate frequently at most licensed shops. For first-time visitors or anyone new to a specific product category, the budtenders are there to guide dose + format choices — the "start low, go slow" principle still applies, especially on edibles at 10mg per serving.
