About

MZDZ operates in Brooklyn under a state-issued adult-use cannabis retail license, regulated by the NY Office of Cannabis Management (OCM). Active license status (OCM-RETL-24-000096) can be confirmed any time via the OCM portal at cannabis.ny.gov — worth checking before an in-person visit. The shop offers in-store pickup. State-regulated product categories include flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles (capped at 10mg THC per serving), concentrates, tinctures, and topicals — all lab-tested and OCM-compliant. Sales are 21+ only. Bring valid ID — retailers are required by state law to check on every visit. The Brooklyn retail scene mixes CAURD-licensed social-equity shops with larger independent operators, and most neighborhoods now have at least one licensed dispensary within a short walk or subway stop. A same-day phone call is the most reliable way to confirm hours and stock — menus rotate frequently at most licensed shops. Anyone new to cannabis or new to a specific product category is better off asking the budtenders than guessing — the "start low, go slow" principle matters most on edibles (10mg per serving max) where onset can take 30-90 minutes.
