About

Licensed by New York's Office of Cannabis Management, BK Exotic runs out of Brooklyn as part of the state's adult-use retail framework. The license is publicly listed as OCM-CAURD-24-000048 — active status is verifiable via the OCM QR-code portal at cannabis.ny.gov before a first visit. The shop offers in-store pickup. New York's regulated product categories cover flower, pre-rolls, vape cartridges, 10mg-per-serving edibles, concentrates, tinctures, and topicals — all third-party lab-tested and packaged in tamper-evident child-resistant containers per state rules. Purchases are restricted to adults 21+ with valid ID at the door. Across Brooklyn's licensed retail footprint, the CAURD program has put priority licenses into the hands of people with prior cannabis convictions — a deliberate social-equity policy that shapes the ownership mix of many of the borough's independent shops. Current menu and same-day availability rotate, so a quick phone check before you visit is usually the fastest way to confirm what's in stock. For first-time visitors or anyone new to a specific product category, the budtenders are there to guide dose + format choices — the "start low, go slow" principle still applies, especially on edibles at 10mg per serving.
