Williamsburg Dispensaries: The Licensed Shops, Street by Street

Williamsburg has about ten licensed storefronts within a short walk of each other. Where they are, how to tell them from unlicensed shops, and the state-park rule on the waterfront.

5 min read

Williamsburg dispensaries are close enough together that a shopper can compare three menus on one walk. As of 2026, the Office of Cannabis Management's license data showed about ten active licensed storefronts in the neighborhood's ZIP codes, strung along Metropolitan Avenue, Bedford Avenue, Broadway and the Kent Avenue waterfront. For adults 21+, that density is the neighborhood's advantage. The catch is that unlicensed shops have operated across Brooklyn too, so the first skill is telling them apart.

The licensed shops, street by street

Every shop below appeared as an active licensed adult-use retailer in OCM's public license data as of 2026. Listings change; confirm before heading out.

Metropolitan Avenue

Metropolitan is the neighborhood's main cannabis corridor, running east from the river.

  • 7 Leaf Clover, 132 Metropolitan Avenue, near the waterfront end, open since November 2025.
  • Sunflower Dispensary, 377 Metropolitan Avenue, open since April 2026 and listed until midnight every night.
  • Flower Daddy, 539 Metropolitan Avenue, further east, open since December 2025.

Bedford Avenue and the Northside

  • HII, 152 Bedford Avenue, one of the neighborhood's earliest licensed shops, open since April 2024. Its registered hours run to midnight early in the week and 2 AM Thursday through Saturday.
  • Salt City Naturals, 61 North 11th Street, open since November 2025 and listed until midnight daily.

The waterfront and the Southside

  • Gotham Williamsburg, 300 Kent Avenue, open since October 2024.
  • Superbness, 110 Broadway, open since May 2026 and listed until midnight daily.
  • A licensed retailer registered as Twisted Vibration LLC, 301 Broadway, open since October 2024.

East Williamsburg: Graham Avenue

Three Cord Cannabis, at 360 Graham Avenue, is different from everything above. It holds an adult-use microbusiness license, not a standard retail license. Under New York's rules, a microbusiness grows its own cannabis and can process and sell its own products directly to consumers from its own retail premises. In practice, that means what Three Cord sells is what Three Cord grew and made.

The dispensary directory lists every licensed shop in Brooklyn with posted hours, and the Williamsburg hub collects the neighborhood's events and coverage.

Telling licensed from unlicensed

In a neighborhood with this many storefronts, this is the step that matters most.

  • Look for the sticker. Verify licensed status via the OCM QR code at cannabis.ny.gov. Every licensed storefront displays a scannable verification sticker near the entrance; the scan should open a state page with that shop's name and address.
  • Check the state list. OCM's retailer finder at buylegal.cannabis.ny.gov lists every licensed location. If a shop isn't there, it isn't licensed.
  • Read the package. Legal products carry New York's universal symbol, and a QR code on the label links to the lab results.
  • Watch for "free." Licensed shops cannot give cannabis away or run spin-the-wheel games under state marketing rules. A "free pre-roll" sign is a reason to look twice.

Before the visit

Bring a valid photo ID. Adults 21+ only. A driver's license, a non-driver ID, IDNYC, a passport from any country or a U.S. military ID all count.

Know the limits. Up to three ounces of flower and 24 grams of concentrated cannabis, including edibles, vapes and oils. Shops can set lower caps.

Budget for 13%. New York adds a 9% state tax and a 4% local tax at the register, calculated on the pre-discount price.

Ask questions. Budtenders at licensed shops are trained on product types, serving sizes and labels. Shopping in person is the fastest way to learn a new category. For edibles, start low, go slow.

Delivery in Williamsburg

Licensed delivery reaches any home or private business in New York State; each shop's site says whether it delivers and where. Orders are prepaid, an adult 21+ shows ID and signs at the door, and delivery happens only during the shop's hours. Couriers can't deliver to a park, a public building or anyone in a car.

The neighborhood around the shops

One of the anchors of the Williamsburg waterfront is a state park. Marsha P. Johnson State Park, about seven acres at 90 Kent Avenue, took its current name in 2020 in honor of the activist; it was previously East River State Park. On Saturdays in season it hosts Smorgasburg, the open-air food market, from 11 AM to 6 PM.

New York state law prohibits cannabis consumption on state-owned land and in public spaces. Marsha P. Johnson State Park is state land, so the food market and the skyline view are for daytime browsing, not for cannabis. The same goes for the city parks and the waterfront paths that connect them.

What it means for your visit

Williamsburg makes comparison shopping easy. Walk Metropolitan, check the sticker at every door, carry ID, and pick the counter that fits. Never drive after consuming, and cannabis cannot be consumed in a car in New York. For neighborhood events this season, the events calendar has the list.
