Nation's largest art parade and the unofficial opening of NYC summer, produced by Coney Island USA since 1983. Thousands of marchers in elaborate sea-themed costumes, antique cars, push-pull floats, marching bands. After briefly facing cancellation over funding, the 2026 parade was secured by community fundraising and Borough President support. Watching is free; marcher registration carries a fee.
